Males VS Females - Which one is easier to train?
While any rat can learn, many people would argue that females are easier to train. Females tend to be more smaller, lither, and generally more active than males once they pass that 6 month mark, leading many to assume that training them is just easier.
My own experience has been that young males, like young females, are full of energy and easy to get into training. Older males like my past neutered boy Marshmallow can be a bit harder to get into training if they weren't introduced young (at under a year old), but its still very possible and with time they will come around. In Mallow's case he was over 1.5 years old when I got him, and even older when training started, but once he got the hang of it he loved ever second and he continued to enjoy training until he passed at just shy of 3 years old!
