This is a very difficult but rewarding trick to challenge any trainer and rat! It can be a hard road to travel, but once you master it you can really show off your rat's awesome intelligence!
Props:

Step 2:
Place the second container where you plan on using it during the final stage of this trick. Now repeat step one and teach the rat to place a new item into the new container (in this case Latte learns to place a balled up tissue into the green container).

Step 4:
Begin to vary which item you ask your rat to put away. This step is quite difficult for them, so be patient and help them out by pointing if they don't seem to "get it" yet.

Step 5:
Practice, Practice, Practice! This is not an easy concept, so use small training sessions and good treats to keep your rat (and yourself) from becoming frustrated.
